Tidalens Docs

READ THE FLOOR · UNDERSTAND THE DATA · USE THE TOKEN SAFELY

Overview

Tidalens is a market floor for people who trade on Robinhood Chain. It combines three things on one screen: derivatives positioning from major exchanges (funding, open interest and liquidations, via CoinGlass), live Robinhood Chain activity, and the Tidalens token’s own on-chain state on Pons.

Every number carries its source and time. Illustrative demo data is always labelled DEMO, and a failed live source is shown as unavailable rather than replaced with made-up values.

The token is an access key. Holding it opens the live lenses of the floor. It does not pay yield or a share of revenue.

HeaderOpen interest, 8-hour funding and 24-hour liquidations for the selected market, a liquidation sparkline, the UTC clock and the RPC round trip.CoinGlass, Robinhood Chain
Stage stripThe latest sampled block, transactions in the samples, the data mode (DEMO or LIVE), the four lattice readings and the market switch (BTC, ETH, SOL).Robinhood Chain
Venue crewThe six largest exchanges by open interest. The ring is each venue’s share of open interest; the bars are its open-interest change over 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h and 24h; the dotted meter is the stablecoin-margined share. Select a card to highlight its strands.CoinGlass
Tide latticeA 3D field that cycles through four readings: exposure (wound column), funding (closed shell), liquidations (flattened oval) and settlement (open ring). Callouts show the sourced values for each reading.CoinGlass, Robinhood Chain
Funding gridTwelve major markets against eight exchanges, shaded by 8-hour funding. Blue is positive (longs pay shorts), amber is negative, dashed cells were not reported.CoinGlass
Long / shortThe last 24 hours of liquidations in 4-hour blocks, split into long and short positions, with the long share as a gauge.CoinGlass
The kneeCumulative share of open interest as exchanges are added, largest first. The knee marks how many venues hold 80% of it.CoinGlass
Liquidation traceEvery 30-minute liquidation bucket in the window, one row per day, with the three largest spikes marked and a rolling 4-hour line.CoinGlass

Data and methodology

Funding, normalized

Exchanges settle funding on different intervals, so rates are converted to one basis before they are compared:

funding_8h = funding_rate × 8 ÷ interval_hours

Rates are stablecoin-margined and shown in percentage points. The headline funding is weighted by each exchange’s open interest; exchanges that do not report funding are left out instead of counted as zero.

Open interest

Shares are each exchange’s open interest divided by the listed total, excluding the provider’s aggregate row so nothing is counted twice. Change columns are the provider’s reported percentages over 5 minutes to 24 hours.

Liquidations

Live mode uses 30-minute buckets of positions that were already closed on Binance, OKX and Bybit. They are history. Tidalens does not estimate where future liquidations sit.

The lattice mapping

Each exchange owns strands in proportion to its open-interest share. The two largest are core strands, exchanges with negative funding are drawn in amber, and the number of teal outflow strands scales with the last 24 hours of liquidations against the daily average of the window. The four shapes are a presentation cycle, one per reading.

Robinhood Chain readings

The server reads the latest block plus samples about five seconds apart from a chain 4663 RPC and verifies the chain ID before using any answer. If the preferred endpoint is unreachable it tries the next configured endpoint and reports which host answered.

Freshness

Market snapshots refresh at most once a minute, liquidation history every five minutes, chain readings about every 15 seconds and token state about once a minute. One shared cache serves every visitor, so traffic does not multiply provider requests. A failed refresh keeps the last reading with a STALE or CACHED label.

Token access

The token has not launched yet, so every lens is currently open. The tiers below take effect once the token address is configured.

Token tiers and what they open
TIERTOKENS HELDOPENS
FreeAnyDemo floor and 3D lattice, Robinhood Chain pulse, Token and Pons curve lens
Holder100,000Everything in Free, plus: Live CoinGlass floor · 24h
Pro1,000,000Everything in Holder, plus: 7-day liquidation trace, Full cross-market funding grid, CSV export of the live floor

How a tier is decided

  1. You connect a wallet and switch to Robinhood Chain.
  2. Tidalens issues a one-time code (nonce) and your wallet signs an EIP-4361 “Sign-In with Ethereum” message that names this site, chain 4663 and that code.
  3. The server checks the site, chain, code and signature. Smart-contract wallets are supported through on-chain signature validation. Each code works once and expires after 10 minutes.
  4. The server reads your token balance with balanceOf and stores a signed, HttpOnly session cookie that lasts 7 days.
  5. Every live data request re-checks the session and your cached balance on the server. Holder access returns the live 24-hour floor; Pro adds the 7-day trace and the full funding grid.

Wallets and safety

  • Tidalens never asks for a seed phrase or private key, and never requests token approvals or transfers.
  • The only signature is the readable sign-in message. Read it before signing: it must name this site and chain ID 4663.
  • Switching or disconnecting your wallet account ends the verified session in the app. Forget verification in the wallet panel removes it immediately.
  • Network details: Robinhood Chain mainnet, chain ID 4663, gas paid in ETH, explorer robinhoodchain.blockscout.com ↗.
  • Always confirm the token contract address from official Tidalens channels. Anyone can launch a token with a similar name.

The token on Pons

The Tidalens token is launched on Pons ↗, a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. According to Pons documentation and its published contracts:

  • Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens and minted once at launch.
  • The token first trades on a bonding curve. It graduates when the curve reaches its threshold (4.2 ETH on ETH-paired launches at the time of writing).
  • At graduation, liquidity moves into a full-range Uniswap v4 position held permanently by the Pons launch locker.
  • Trading fees are charged on each trade and split between Pons and the creator fee wallet under terms fixed at launch.

Status: not launched yet. Read more in the Pons docs ↗.

Sustainability

Live market data, reliable RPC access and hosting cost money every month. The creator fees Pons pays on token trading are used to cover those costs, so the product is funded by the same activity that gives the token its purpose.

The creator fee wallet is a public address, so anyone can follow its balance on-chain. Holders receive access to the product, never a payout from these fees.

Risks and disclaimers

  • Tokens launched on bonding curves are highly volatile and can lose all of their value.
  • Access tiers can change, and a data provider or the product itself can become unavailable.
  • Market data describes positioning; it does not predict price moves. Nothing on Tidalens is financial advice.
  • Tidalens is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Robinhood, Pons or CoinGlass.
  • Holding the token is not an investment in Tidalens and carries no claim on revenue, assets or profits.

FAQ

Do I need the token to use Tidalens?
No. The demo floor, the 3D lattice, Robinhood Chain readings and the token panel are free. The token opens the live market lenses.
Does verifying my wallet cost gas or move tokens?
No. Verification is an off-chain signature of a readable EIP-4361 message. It is not a transaction and grants no spending permission.
What happens if I sell or move my tokens?
Balances are read from the chain. After the short cache window your tier follows your new balance, and live requests are re-checked on the server.
Why is live data gated but the demo is not?
Live data costs money to license and serve. Holders keep that access going; the demo stays open so anyone can learn the instruments first.
Is the 3D lattice a trading signal?
No. Strand counts reflect sourced data, but shapes, rotation and positions are presentation. Tidalens does not predict prices.
Which wallets work?
Browser wallets that support EIP-6963 or inject an EIP-1193 provider, including wallet in-app browsers on mobile. The network must be Robinhood Chain (4663).

Current thresholds: Holder ≥ 100K, Pro ≥ 1M tokens.
